Free Rice! Donating to the poor was never this fun

The United Nations World Food Program (UNFP) has recently started a new fundraising initiative to help support the hungry citizens of third world countries. Their innovative new website, www.freerice.com allows ordinary people to donate (for free!) while playing a game that enhances your vocabulary.
The rules of the game are simple. A keyword is given to the viewer along with four other words, out of which one is a synonym. The viewer wins by selecting the synonym, and each win is an automatic donation of 10 grains to the needy around the world.
As you guess more words correctly, the difficulty level increases up to a max of 50 (English university professor level). The fast loading time and spiffy layout makes this simple game very addictive; your instinct just wants to check out the next word. It is a good way to kill time (and learn new vocab - come on, learning was never this fun!)
The site is increasing popularity by day, with a total so far of 1.5 billion grains of rice donated since the opening on October 7, 2007. Check it out – learn some new words while helping a good cause.
